We are a government-owned corporation providing safe and environmentally sound air traffic control management and related airside services to the aviation industry.

In a region covering 11 per cent of the world’s surface, we manage air traffic operations for around 63 million passengers on more than 4 million domestic and international flights every year.

The aviation industry also relies on Airservices Australia for aeronautical data, telecommunications, navigation services and aviation rescue and fire fighting services.

We have been twice voted as the world’s best provider of air traffic control.

We employ around 3000 staff, including approximately 900 air traffic controllers, working from two major centres in Melbourne and Brisbane and 26 towers at international and regional airports.
